Is someone able to provide the link to the page on the website that allows you to change details? I don't have enough hours in the day to wait for it to load & then search for it. :)

Who gave them my telephone #?

How did they obviously get a membership list with personal details?

Does that mean the Club has provided them with the list?
Yeah I want to know this too.

I thought my details to the club were private?

How can these people who I have never heard of before this week get my personal information?
Careful joffaboy,
Asking questions may be seen as an act of disloyal heresy towards our new saviours! :)
Er, unless you are suggesting that our details were stolen then it's the old saviours who've handed out our details.

I'd be interested to know, as well. I don't want an sms. I want a plan.

The challengers are entitled to member details to make it a even playing field for both parties which is in the best interests of St kilda.

Only after they have lodged the correct documents to launch a challenge.

They obviously had the details well before they launched the challenge on Tuesday.

The club's Constitution states that any potential candidate for the board is allowed access to the club's books and member information ...

Perfectly okay ...

They should only play AFL games now when it's raining. Slow games of footy are so much better to watch.

Did you notice also that whilst they ask for your membership number on the proxy form, it is actually printed on the back, under the barcode. Aren't proxies meant to be anonymous? It's feeling a bit like big brother... BTW, I have never received an sms - even though I advised the club of my mobile no., and 2 letters in the mailout...

OWTS...how do you know that is all perfectly ok...and that everything has been done as per Privacy Legislation?

I think the question may still be.....did they get it before they were meant to???

The mail out was sent the same day the challenge was announced.....does that mean that they got it off the club that morning???

If so it would seem that the club was reamarkably quick in dropping everything to do the database sort and export.....and remember that this is meant to be an admin that is grossly overworked.

In addition mailing houses (and I have often arranged for the use of mailing lists)...would be expected to sign a privacy form and have this returned to the club.

Remember that you have to have time to print the address details.

I also find it interesting that my 9 year who is not an adult member and cannot vote.....has a proxy form....suggesting that the database used was not properly cleansed.

Was this by mistake...due to rushing....or due to them not knowing who is a child member and who is not?
