Need Saints to Follow over the Off Season?

Post: # 451422Post Beno88 »

Get on board our football sister team, the Saints at Southampton in the English Football League Championship.

I've been following Southampton for the last 15 years, because like StKilda they wear the red, white and black and are known as the Saints.

And like St.Kilda, they have only the one F.A. Cup in the cabinet.

Despite dropping out of the Premier League a few years ago the saints finished 6th last year are among the favourites to be promoted at the end of the season.

They currently sit 11th, with 2 wins and 2 losses.

I thought Southamptons official colours are red and white, not red, white and black. :?:

I followed them when they had James Beattie & were pretty good a few years back. Would be great if they could get back in the Premier League as i can't bring myself to support anyone else!

Southampton = Bruce Eva's soccer team. I like Beva's logic for following them "They are known as the saints" !!

New Orleans Saints.

With the ineptitude I saw yesterday in the first game of the NFL season, they should fit the bill perfectly.

Went down 41-10 to Indy Colts.

Beaten by the best team in it on their home turf.

Hardly ineptitude.

Can I ask, how many games have you seen them play over the past 12 months?
