If McGregor became a Saint, I'd stop supporting St Kilda.

No way should we even consider someone like McGregor. In and out of another mid-ranking team. The last thing we need is to go back to drafting rejects from other clubs who might??? provide something to the Saints.
McGough, Knobel etc.

Wasn't traded for ... just acquired in the PSD.

No problem with acquiring McGregor in the PSD if he leaves the Crows ... but you wouldn't trade for him as the trade won't net you 100 games for the club.

You didn't specify that in your post, which is why I asked.

Fair enough, that's more in line with my thinking. I rate McGregor, but I wouldn't want to give up a pick (well, better than 5th round) to get him.

A swap of draft positions on our 3rd and 4th round picks might be enough. That's hardly a price at all...
