Not sure Chick has pulled the plug yet. Channel 10 news tonight said that the Eagles have told him they will not offer him another contract but he still wants to play on.

could we assume that many'retirements' from now on may really a mixture of " don't fit the structure', 'going in a new direction' Not offfered new contract' etc more than a choice

Rhys Achard is young player who left SANFL to go back to Northern Victoria.

Sampi- suffering depression and residing in country WA.

To me it still seems like a big year for retirements as opposed to delistings
- especailly the 30yr olds
