Round 21 nominations for the 2007 AFL Army Award are as follows:

1. Sam Gilbert (St Kilda) â€“ Great chase and tackle on Chris Judd

2. Daniel Motlop (Port Adelaide) â€“ Strong tackle on Tom Harley and second effort smother

3. Brad Ottens (Geelong) â€“ Defensive spoil and shepherd on Brendon Lade to gain possession

You do not mess with a Gilbert tackle. He gets his hands on you, get rid of the ball, because you're staying tackled.

That's twice today Sam has been beaten by a Cat. All the more reason to hate them I guess. Hoping they go out in straight sets, sick of all the supporters at work who never go to games all of a sudden talking them up for the flag.
