Do we 'Deserve' to play finals?

If we make the finals we will have done more then other sides who didnt.

Its a very simple philosophy. if you win more games then teams below you, then you deserve it.
If we dont make the finals we wont be unlucky at all. For we should have beaten collingwood and the doggies etc, and probably west coast.
therefore if we miss, its our fault and we deserve it.

well look at it this way

do the tiges deserve to be in the 8 over us ? no
the blues or dees ? no
do Freo ? hell no
WB? nup
Ess? no
Bris? prob not
do the crows ??? ill guess we will find out on friday

Simple if we make it in, then the answer is YES
If we dont, then the answer is NO
Pretty basic if you ask me.

I see it another way really.. does not matter where you finish in the 8.. if you don't win the flag it means nothing..... deserve to be there or not... it does not make a difference. At the end of September its one team and one team only.

No one looks back and goes gees 8th spot from 5 years ago didn't really deserve to make the 8.

Its the same for Geelong, finish top but don't win the flag... then finishing top means nothing..... its Just my opinion of course.
