Hate to say it but...Pies are our finals hope

we might have to cheer for collingwood next week. Crows by 4 goals at half time and brisbane have only had 4 scoring shots.

We might know if we are a chance for a finals spot by the time we play sat.

I can see Collingwood rolling Adelaide - Geelong in Brsibane...hmm..the Lions are a different side..and with Browne and their backs to the wall..(and would Geelong maybe give the likes of a sorfe Bartel the extra week off before finals?????...be temtping...)

Collingwood have more to play for ....its why part of me was hoping the Swans would roll them tonight .....and they come out breathing fire next week...

personally I can see brisbane winning in rd 22 and the crows to struggle against collingwood. The pies could be playing for a home final, strangely enough it could be against us if the cards fall the right way.

plus I don't think that the crows have enough to put scoreboard pressure on the pies next week. The pies are very good at the G, with their army behind them and buckley having a game under their belt I would think they would finish the crows easily. Plus unlike geelong they still something to play for.

I will be cheering for Collingwood on friday night, no matter how much I hate them! Malthouse did say that he will be resting some of his players if they can't move up on the ladder and that's what we do not want!

I am worried that the pies do not have an incentive to win next week...very hard to see them finishing top 4 particularly if Rocca is suspended...

Their incentive to win next week should be...

1: If they lose they get a home game against Sydney. A win would mean a home game against us.

2: If they lose, and then defeat Sydney the first week, then they will most likely have an away game interstate against the loser of West Coast and Port Adelaide. If they win, and then defeat us, they have an away game in Melbourne against most likely either Geelong or Kangaroos.

Their finals fate is in their own hands this weekend.
