The Bakes appeal starts at 5.30 this afternoon. Around then there will be a new thread started to that effect. PLEASE, can all discussion on the appeal as it unfolds please be kept in that thread

We had 30 different threads on the tribunal decision, made for very messy reading.

Those of you who just HAVE to start your own thread because you are worried noone will read what you have to say, fair warning, you thread WILL be locked,

Why not just make this the 'official appeal thread' and 'sticky' it?

You can then delete it later on.

you are rite i was sick of baker threads that he is going to appeal we know der keep as one when it starts and when its finishes

Though I would start a new one at 5:30 ish...as by then there will probably be 3 pages to this one!!!!!!!!!!

ah....you obviously don't know that we are all on SST here.

Saintsational Standard Time.....which for some odd reason is an hour different to EST.

Yep we will both think that Bakes has been 'screwed' at 1:39, and even more unbelievably, I can read tens of thousands of minds who are all thinking the same thing!

I heard on Perth radio this morning that Baker risks getting extra weeks if the appeal fails.

Can anyone confirm/deny this?

wouldnt have a clue but saints are confident that he would get a fine or it would be thrown out

I don't think he can get extra weeks because he had no chance for an early plea... but I don't know for sure - I'm pretty sure I read thaton bigfooty....

The previous set-up encouraged me NOT to post....so much stuff in so many places.....It was a real mess.

I think everyone had the one thread idea.....but kudos for the initiative to ensure it happens.

* at 3.20 I say yes one thread
*new thread to this one
* and NOT stickied because some people Don't go to sticky's first But go straight to the first non stickied thread

and even mods' often start new threads when others started- we're all guilty of thinking we may be first or have new info.

as long as the RESULT is known by the time I get home and I can find out here will do fine thanks;
