i will always have a spotfor him in my st kilda heart.

i think he was over a lot of things at st kilda...the mediocrity in the admin, the rotating coaches and the consistent poor performance of the club.

it wasn't just st kilda however, he needed out of victoria, and sydney was the best option.
A shy country boy. He wants his privacy so good luck to him.
The best full-forward ever. Well done Plugger!1

I once spent a year in Adelaide, I think it was on a Sunday.

have you met him....i have...sat next to him at dinners on occasions as well....he is actually a very nice young man.....

Yeh...My post made me think about it more....(and it isnt really specified at plugger)

Us (the Fans) tend to think that we own the players of this great game. We dont. And in reality they owe nothing to us. Yeh we turn up at games....buy memberships....blah blah....but all in all we follow a club, not an individual....

It they give us a bit of their time, then they are truely great people.

Posters - have a real think of ow many people you really lend YOUR time to throughout any day (and this is just for people you know)

Now ponder how many requests a footballer gets each day just from people they dont know......

By the end of it.....
I'd probably want to remain in the country, away from the spotlight just to savour some real quality personal time with my loved ones too.....aka Lockett.

exactly

he didn't like the media spotlight then, and still doesn't now

theres nothing wrong with that

he doesn't watch any football anymore, does as much for us as he does for the swans

at least he didn't go down the path of dickheads like Carey and The Ox

champion player, champion bloke, just doesn't want anything to do with football anymore, so get over it

We used to worship him.
He was our shining light.
The player with the greatest talents ever.

But he has shunned us.
Turned his back on us.

Let's not make the Richmond "KB" mistake where they have spent 15 years pandering to sooky-sooky KB to try to get him back in the fold.
They would have been better to just ignore him and let him sulk in silence.

We shouldn't make the mistake of pandering to Plugger.
But that is his loss.

Perhaps he's moved on and wants to do more positive things.
Looking at him in the Toyota add he looks like he is doing a lot of positive eating.

A trip to the Big Man Clothing Store wouldn't be a waste of time either.
