How was school today? English lessons going well I see...

Haynes was delisted. Trained with the Western Bulldgos, but wasn't picked up. Handy player, could have made it at AFL level if he found the footy a bit easier.

My brothers mates knew him pretty well. Apparently had a heap of ability but had a shocking attitude and wasn't willing to put in the hard work required.

That is the story of North Warrnambool, really (I'm probably leaving them next year). North has always had a few players capable of achieving great things, but have such a lazy, mediocre culture that has stopped them from being really successful.

Nope. Was at West Coast 2000-2003 and went to Geelong in 2004 before being delisted in 2005.
