If everone on that list improves their goal kicking by 10% each...

We would already have a finals berth stitched up. How does taking goal posts away improve practice?

No consolation prizes in training - either it's a goal or, well, it isn't.

The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, and wiser people so full of doubts.

It was the point posts.....

I guess it is just to give more focus on actually kicking a goal..rather than a score as the traget is approximately onlya third....

...and that it also focusses the importance on kicking goal as at training it is now the only option for success!!!

Good points SR. Maybe we should get Jason Heatley down there as a goal kicking coach. He did not get the ball enough, but when he did, he was a true dead eye.

The way Plugger carries on, you would never know he played most of career and kicked most of goals with the Saints. I'd rather someone else than Plugger.

Very pleased with the decision to remove the point posts. No rewards for a "narrow miss"

Means that kicking a point is just as useful to the team as kicking it out on the full.
