My brother was at the game and saw the incident. Farmer was moving to take off and Baker came from the side and either punched or elbowed him to the face, whichever gets you more weeks.

I have had several looks at their string on it.....

And on at least TWO occassions they have actively pruned out posts that suggest that Baker did not doing anything that was cpable of being suspended.


ie that it was an accidental clash of heads......



Yet the Bozzo who claims his brother saw it..... stays on despite having such poor recollection that he says it was striking with an elbow or was punch....which are clearly two different actions = tosser trying to impress his borothers and mates making up what he saw.


So posts which are obviosly flawed are left up....but posts which state it was an accident by eye witnesses are deleted.

JB, I agree with almost all of your rant, but you are being a bit unfair to Pavlich by describing him as a "frontrunner". He's a great, hardworking player of a similar type to our Nick R (not quite as brilliant overhead, but a more dependable kick for goal). I think he often gets let down by the service from the Dockers midfield in a similar way to our Nick.

I also know through a personal connection that he's a genuinely decent sort of guy.

I certainly would have no problem with seeing him line up in the red, white and black.

while I believe headcase's story re: the verballing the AFL passed a special rule mitigating his retaliation.

in the past retaliators have been punished as hard or harder than the original instigator.

there is NO doubt re: headcases actions, while you may chose to believe or not believe his story, I would think his retaliation deserved weeks, maybe with the cause reducing by 1 or 2, not to be wholy suspended.
