Fair call...his action could have ended Bell's career.

And FIGJAM launches the 'Filth response' by saying the following:-

Rowe (Brions) contact was worse than 'Johnnos' so is amazed he didn't get the same or more

Bakers incident is much worse - kinghit behind play and should get 3 times as much as 'Johnno'.

NOt a 'if he did anything' about Baker - just implied guilty of 'kinghit'.

An absolute disgrace from someone who holds himself out as an 'elder statesman' of the AFL

I notice he didn't make any public comments about his 'mate Didak getting in the car with the Hells Angel? Where was the moralizing there?

8 week is a bit harsh, but 6 would have been around the mark I would have thought.

Still investigating the Baker incident until tonight/tomorrow.

They should only play AFL games now when it's raining. Slow games of footy are so much better to watch.

Not really fair on Bucks there

disagree that is exactly what he said

Clarifief bakes

did not say he did

(IF)

In relation to Rowe and other player

both players running harder at each other and impact (but not the damage) was harder......

Chook initially he did say Bakes and king hit in the same sentence and there was no "if". Then when responding he tried - lamely - not to say that Bakes had done it.

Spot on BendigoBob

They must have got some sms messages during the ad break because when they came back from it, FGIJAM tried to clarify what he had said.

Chook may have only heard the second part and not the first?

Still investigating ..... What , trying to find a witness ?

Well there are not any otherwise they would have gone public by now !

So its down to guessing what may have occurred ( based on the results).
And , further assuming it was intentional......

They will be hard pressed in my opinon .

The AFL need an extra day to cook up a charge.

The incident occured on Saturday they've had 2 full days since the incident, they are ment to be a professional organisation 2 days should be more than enough time.

The AFL is an absolute joke, they just make it up as they go along.

yeah . . . and an extra day for the media to completely crucify Bakes.
Whatever the outcome the media have made sure that Bakes will be victimised by opposition players and supporters for the remainder of the season.

Exactly what could Baker be cited with?

As far as I know there's nothing in the laws of the game that makes it an offence to be cannoned into by someone else.

Witness or not, footage is key and the only unbiased evidence, and there isn't any of what ever may or may not have happened between Baker and Farmer.
I can't see him getting too much, if anything hopefully for your sake.

As for Johnson - got what he deserved for such a god awful and dangerous act.
I'm obviously biased, but I have no sympathy, especially given we had to watch Belly carried off on a stretcher with the risk of spinal injuries.

Its about time the AFL did something right in this regard.
There has actually been quite a bit of surprise on the Demon sites, given the fact he is from the filth and he hit a Demon.
And we don't really seem to count in the overall scheme of things.
