we won because of the above..pretty bloody simple ,nothing's changed footy's been like that for 100 yrs

the highlight of the game for me was not gehrigs 8 gls but him actually laying a tackle & then throwing the bastard into the ground...havnt seen that since hamill's departure 2 yrs ago

no airy fairy pie in the sky stuff (letting them walk out of our forward 50)just good old fashioned hunt in packs,tackle with intent,chase down,run to the player not drop off him & when the opportunity arises a good old fashioned smack across the chops

lets carry that intent into every game...not asking to much

Couldn't agree with you more Rog, thats the way to play the game !!!!
Couldn't make it to the Civic on Saturday, but screamed my way through the match in the country. Will try & get there Friday.
