:(

brooks is gone

for purely selfish reasons I hope he does't tear us to pieces at another team.

watching rodan, fiora, ottens etc tears the richmond supporters up IMO.

also can anyone remind me who was in the best for the scorpians?

I remember V2 other than that was birss and raph tearing it up?

Not happy with those changes especially Raph, watching him this season has made me lose all my faith in him.

Why bring in Birss? Lyon plays him in a negating role, we don't need Baker/L.Fisher and another stopper, it's just pointless, at least he dropped Attard, I'd still like one more tall forward in our forward line especially now that Kosi is permanent ruck.

Kosi will only ruck when Gilmore isnt so he will then go forward so it will be the same as per usual.

Well with Attard out.....Birrs can play as a stopper.

I'd still prefer another tall forward, that being Watts but I understand why they wont bring him into the side.

yeah I know and that's the problem I have, we have basically 3 taggers, 4 if you include Blake, I don't understand what the point of the exercise is we've shown over the last few weeks and the first half of the year that we need to be more potent from the middle half of the ground to the forward line yet we still don't seem to be addressing that problem.

I know the Team selectors know alot more about the side than I but I would have rolled the dice this game and thrown McQualter, Thompson and maybe even Armitage into the side... at least Ferguson over Raph Clarke, like Lyon said himself their's no point limping into the finals which I think the current gameplan will have us do... if we make it.

What a waste of a pick redrafting Ferguson.

Brett Voss - he must be wondering what on earth is going on.
Clint Jones - not an AFL player. In one week, out the next.
Rix - In one week, out the next. Not even an emergency but M. Clarke is. Work that out.

Those changes may marginally improve the team, but there isn't a lot of potential gain.

Birss in for Attard - Had to be done. Attard in terrible form lately and Birss was dropped unfairly
R.Clarke for Jones - Both have looked completely lost at senior level this year. Clanger kings. Not a huge difference
Voss for Rix - We obviously want another marking target, but we've been giving Voss a go every month or so and he keeps on failing. Same goes for Rix. They perform in the Scorps, get a gig in the seniors, disappoint and the cycle starts again. Why not try someone new? Has the form of Brooks and Ferguson not been good enough? Do they need to gather at least 45 disposals each week to get a game? Why di different rules apply to these players?

Those team changes won't make a rat's dot bit of difference to the result on Saturday.

We will need our big guns to once again stand up and win the game for us. If they don't, we'll lose.

given this weeks selections, will we see goose get a run in the ruck?

i know he has played there before, but as RL has such a high opinion for ruck work I didnt think we would see neither him or blake play there again

So who's rucking?

Kosi and ???

Surely, not Blake.

Wel freo only have Warnock and that other bloke the size of Blake. Blake I cant think has a run with match up. So yes he will ruck.

So rather than exploit the Dockers' lack of presence in the ruck we decide to nullify it by dropping one of our ruckmen?

Yup, that makes sense - not.

I think he realises Rix is not up to it. He doesnt get enough possessions to hurt any side.

I think we can accept we have a one good ruckman at the club. Kosi. I think Rix is a bit stiff, played a fair game last week.

And hack pup is out again, bowled without troubling the scorers.
