Clark, Ross, Long are certainly locks for me.

I suggest either Bytel or Byrnes may be the 4th?

Is playing tribute games for departing legacy players a clever way to disguise tanking?

Nup
I hope not. Players will naturally always have a crack, but you hope they don’t get tempted to coast.

If it were me at the flat parts of the game - if there are any - I would be thinking of that Coopers Stubby or Bintang tinny by the pool in Bali next week. Players these days might be thinking about their noses?

Anyway, can’t argue Kent the game if we are gone. Not his fault he got a second contract and was left on 99.

As someone said, somethings up with Bytel ..surely!?

Feel sorry for Joyce. Didn’t do much wrong. Had a crack. Given an impossible task with Highmore mid season.

You're quite brilliant Shane, yeah..terrific!

Interesting test 🤔
So Hannebery getting a gig in front of Bytel doesn't give a whiff of anything?
Yes it does, but at least he has shown he helps the side win.
We should be trying to win at all cost ,
Next priority play the players who need experience
Third priority is sentiment

We are going to put Sentiment at number 1
Just saying that whether Kent or Hannebery are gifted a game before Bytel smells of dead man's bile. Neither played better than Bytel last week. There's a whiff of justifying two well paid disappointments whilst cr@pping on a young player still busting a gut at Sandy.

It might mean Bytel is a complete spud, he's had 4 years to try and crack into the side and yes some of that is because of injury but it doesn't matter what the reason is, 4 years is more than enough time. Time to cut the losses.

Dan Hannebery and Dean Kent will close out their careers in front of the St Kilda faithful, with the pair earning a farewell game this weekend against Sydney.

Hannebery and Kent both joined the Saints during the 2018 Trade Period from Sydney and Melbourne respectively, with the latter to celebrate his 100th career game before hanging up the boots.

Kent has been named as an emergency, however the club has confirmed ahead of time that he will be Sunday's medical sub.

Hoping Bytel is made of sterner stuff (& stays) but would understand him scratching his head. The same for Byrnes and Connolly.

Zero value for St Kilda giving these two further AFL exposure.

You could not pay me enough money to go to that shithole Bali. More than one Aussie on average a week meets an untimely death there.

I personally feel for Bytel. Better footballer than Kent or Jones by the length of the straight.

You can always look forward to the outcome of the review.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?
