Lost by two points . Maggots and poor kicking for goal killed them. 16 frees for 26 against.

14.6 TO 13 10. As posted above Bytel and Campbell best two along with NWM.

Last quarter umpiring was very interesting.

Campbell dominated BOG

Heath had some really good moments

The rest of the senior listed players were just okay. Connolly was good in patches and was one of the few players who actually showed some dare (which is why he probably should be playing seniors). His kicking on either foot is very good. Kent had a bit of the ball and gave us drive, but made some bizarre choices with it, which cost us scoring opportunities. Bytel got a bit of the ball but very little real influence on the game. Had a couple of putrid kicks. Highmore was good. Byrnes had some moments but disappeared for patches. NWM started well but faded badly. Lienert was reasonable. Once again, Allison barely touched it. Adams didn't play. Neither did Peris.

There appeared a similar affliction to the senior team. An unwillingness to offload to a player running past, then stepping back, waiting and kicking long to a contest.

Mind you, a lot of the Sandringham listed players are not very good VFL players and I think that's no help to the St Kilda players.

Not sure why we haven’t given Campbell a go?

Bytel deserves a game surely

Neither of our teams will play finals so time to reward Campbell, Bytel and NWM, also Highmore and Connolly are not far off it. Should be easy to find spots after Saturday’s effort with Hanners injured, Jones substandard, Paton and Webster’s poor decision making and Butler and Higgins offering very little. I suspect if our selectors are true to form it will probably only be Byrnes for Hanners.

I reckon Higgins gets marked very hard on here
Very good attacking small forward who can take a contested mark and is still only young.

Time to play NWM and Bytel though.

Jones and Hanna's both out

Butler - didn’t he kick 5 recently

Man, there is some hysterical commentary on here atm?!

Top team beat us by 7 goals at their home ground. We played poorly, they played well.

While we are still a mathematical chance, you pick your best 22
In fact, I’m dead against ever gifting games!

Interesting is one way to put it

I notice above the FKs were 16-26

Love to see what they were in the last ten minutes

I reckon Geelong got 6 frees in that time and continually got territory because of them
