Not with one of the pricks named for our game, unfortunately.

Funny how Rd 9 has been forgotten and disregarded
We rested Jack Steele when we played them and still won comfortably.
Came off injured half way through the third quarter of that game didn’t he?

Yes.
Deliberately clumsy. Hurt Jack on purpose, but said sorry. You know how the Cats players do. Accident, no time to pull out etc ..

Probably most other clubs don’t have a lot of respect for the Saints, I’ve followed them for over 50 years and probably watched lesser teams but we seemed to try a bit harder.

To be fair - Selwood was the only one rested.

Dangerfield did his calf in the warm up and Rohan was subbed off with concussion last week so automatically had to miss.

Correct.

Geelong are not unbeatable as we saw in round 9, the last time they were beaten and we did it. But they have improved since then, especially their younger players who have gained a bit of experience. The most galling thing about Geelong is that almost every player they have received from another club has been a success, with the only one with any doubt over his head being Rhys Stanley. Isaac Smith and Jeremy Cameron both came last year and added height and pace. This added to Gary Rohan who came in 2019. All three are good long kicks. The two areas of pace and height is where they showed us up last night - as well as in skills. As I have said many times, while our kicking is average, it's our handball which is very poor - I would say the worst in the AFL. And, it's a teachable skill.

Just over talented and an unbundance of class.

I'm suspicious Danger was never going to play and the late withdrawal was just theatre to mitigation accusations the Cats were being disrespectful as well as create some unpredictability.

Have a look at our last quarter against Hawks a week earlier where they got back into the game but ran out of time- Scott would have looked at that and saw all our defensive and tactical weaknesses on show, and just exploited it last night.
