Possibly, he left before season's end, to help the club get ahead of other clubs chasing assistant coaches.
Nice move.
But who would want to come to us?
A recently retired player, or a current assistant?
I don't believe we're gonna attract anyone of note.

And I don't wanna hear 'Oh, bring Banger back home' 🥴🤦‍♂️

Implying more to come?
Interesting timing.
No mention of job to go to.
Apropos of nothing, wonder how he got on with B. Hill.
Of course its been a long miserable winter in Melbourne.

Seems other clubs appreciate banger as an assistant more than the saints do.

Why not ? The bloke is a club legend & has obviously an impact as an assistant at every club he has been involved with so why not bring the great man home to where he belongs . I'm sold

Just didn't want to get my hopes up.

Rob could reunite with his old mate Jordan De, possibly.
JD only played up after Rob left?

St KFC facebook post mentions Mildura, family, etc. I really didn't read it properly, just happy he's gone. Didn't care about why or where he's going 🤪🥴

You don't get it.
Banger wanted the senior job.
He won't return to just be a mids coach?
Also, I don't want my memories of the legend to be diluted, as it will be, when our club continually fails to develop players, or pick the right players, and always lie down against rubbish teams.
It's what we do, and he can't help us, we're rubbish and always will be

I'm not saying he will be the messiah & he will solve all our issues . I would just love to have him back where he belongs & IMO it will be good for team morale to have a club legend involved with the coaching group , if ever you need a bloke to look up to I can't think of a better candidate than Harves . I can see where are coming from that you would rather remember Banga for how he was & don't want to be the the hunter that kill's Bambi but I think it's time to look at bringing him home . He might not even be the slighted bit interested but if he is why not

I said he is not the messiah (just a very naughty boy) & he won't solve all our issues but maybe some & that's a start IMO . We could do worse , so whats your grand plan B.M ?

The coaching panel needs an overhaul, let's hope this is just the start.

The Saints problems are by no means limited to the coaching panel, i'm just hoping not every player currently on the Saints list gets re-signed before season's end.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Bang on
Lade next MUST go
Can’t slide like we have and have zero response and Mcglynn on his own isn’t the issue
Lade runs forward line??? Got me faked why ....must go.
Rath to stats only
Bring in a Chocco so the coaching mates club has someone to challenge the “nice family culture “
Time to get professional set standards and stop cuddling
“Gears matey.....how many finals matey...”
“Ah....3 Brett...”
“Gee fellas we don’t want that...”
No shyte Brett then demand more from them YOUR coaching group and yourself or you won’t last years “matey”

How do you know the next coach will be any good - maybe they’ll be worse

My grand plan

Add quality to the list

Go hard for two FAs to start with

Draft 3 kids again

Do 1 trade

That’s 6 new players on the list - 4 in the senior team

That will change results more than who is assistant coach

How do you know the 6 players will be any better than the 6 they have replaced.

Replacing players, replacing coaches, it's all a lottery, a lottery this club is not very good at.
