No way - North would crucify us. Only three wins from the previous thirteen matches against the Kangaroos says 'Beware'!

Our recent record against North Melbourne is absolutely pitiful - right up there with our shocking records against Geelong and the Crows.

We beat all three teams the last time we played them. Anything before that is ancient history.

But I wouldn’t rest anyone.

But it isn't. It isn't ancient history at all. They shocked us in 2020 when they came from six goals down in round 1 to beat us. That's two years ago, and last year they completely outplayed us in the last quarter when we managed to get over the line by three goals.

On resting players....

I think we show check the Wellness Indicator with Training Services and see if a night out at the movies might do the trick.

You’re stretching to say we “managed” to get over the line. The game was over at 3/4 time. They kicked a goal after the siren to lose by 20 points.

If we don’t beat Norf comfortably, we don’t deserve to be any where near the 8.

I hope we smash them. Their trainers at Arden St are the rudest arseholes and treat the local community like dirt. No wonder they hardly have any supporters and members

In 2021 and 2022 we are 0 from 2 when only Paddy plays, and one of those losses was by over a hundred points.

Our recent record against North Melbourne is absolutely pitiful - right up there with our shocking records against Geelong and the Crows. Only three wins from the previous thirteen matches against them! If we start mucking around with dropping players to manage them we are setting ourselves up for an embarrasment and risk unravelling the season.

Don't do it.
Samustat has spoken!

The number don't lie...

Play 'em.

We are sitting at 7-3 or whatever it is now...
But our season hasn't been brilliant.

Here goes skeptic Shane G..
...be my guest...lol

Round One
Worst Loss (atrocious selection...out coached in game, and out pre-planned before it)
Round Two
Best Win

Then Beautiful, Beautiful against teams that were down.
But we got structure, games and spine!

Then Washout loss, and decent walloping.
Followed by Gutsy win- we almost lost against Geelong remember!
Followed by hackneyed, ploughman, but ultimately very fortunate win against Adelaide..
(King, Hill, Wilkie) were the salvations

And our injury list has to be one of the best in the league!!

We lost Steele for one game, and poor Higgo has had a time of it. But after that...
HUnter C, Billings..both not A flight players, even in our team .. (HUnter was just going last year pre-collision, partly, I assume, because he was given a new role)
Hayes and Coffield are fringe players now.

Our midfield has to be bottom six.

I reckon we are a middle-of-the-ladder team right now

Paton is not in pre-Roughead form.
Some others are servicable without doing much

More and better from..

Sincs
Wilks
Hill
Ross
Crouch

has made up for it.

And KIng is clunking them

NWM and Windy are embryonic stage.

So in short...yet again...against a team, with a percentage of 40 something...we face yet another cliff, another knife edge, 'danger' game.
Can you believe it?
Yes!

Play 'em!

You're quite brilliant Shane, yeah..terrific!

We play our best possible team without restiing or managing players who can play, and we'll win this easy.
Start to play around, or 'get cute' and we are tempting fate.
We should be going for a 100 point win here.

Not really. Check out the posts on here and over on BigFooty after the match - nobody could go to the game so a lot of people vented online and posted that it felt like a loss.
Check out these numbers against North:
3 wins from 13 matches.
26 wins from 80 matches since '74.
These numbers tell me to take nothing for granted. We need to go for the % on Sunday. Show no mercy. Out of Commission.

Mid season bye coming up.
Get to rest every player for a week.
No need to rest anyone now except to save a dropped players face.
Managed is code for face saving dropped.

No, but I remember them. I also remember the Tokyo Goannas. A friend of mine was Irish and we went to the clubhouse once which was an AFL bar in Shinjuku back then.
BTW - the Tokyo Goannas was originally set up by some expats including a son of Ronnie Biggs back in the early 90s.

And by the way Samurai..didi you play for the Samurai Saints in Tokyo once?
No, but I remember them. I also remember the Tokyo Goannas. A friend of mine was Irish and we went to the clubhouse once which was an AFL bar in Shinjuku back then.
BTW - the Tokyo Goannas was originally set up by some expats including a son of Ronnie Biggs back in the early 90s.

You're quite brilliant Shane, yeah..terrific!

You’re stretching to say we “managed” to get over the line. The game was over at 3/4 time. They kicked a goal after the siren to lose by 20 points.
A few nuffies having a sook online doesn’t mean we were close to a loss.
