Pity they can't get the name of the venue correct. It's Middle Brighton Baths.
I spent most of my childhood there!

We did swimming classes at the Brighton Beach Baths in "state" school.

1st landing
2nd landing
3rd landing
4th landing?
High dive
Low dive

I remember when one kid jumped off the one of the diving boards and landed on a sting ray. Foot blew up like football.

Like all good things, the government decided to destroy it in the 70s...luckily, I think it hung on. Is it still there?

I mean very effective at stopping white pointers, maybe not jelly fish and sting rays.

Brighton Beach Baths closed in the '70s as you said. It was badly damaged in a storm and the government decided to pull it down. Nothing there now at the end of South Road.
