The saints have lost another young gun to its midfield with Tyanna Smith out for 2022 with a knee injury.

For those who have watched a little of the SaintsW she is a hard running & wonderful mid fielder - at 19 she had already become one of the better players in her first year of AFLW
A absolute natural who has goal sense will be missed greatly in 2022.
With Tyanna & Georgia both out leaves a huge void to fill in the midfield
Lets hope others on the list can step up (disaster can breed opportunities)

Clearly in our best 3 or 4 players in 2021.

Ability to break lines and use the ball for a young player was fantastic

Terrible terrible loss.

Such a great player. Balanced, skilled, smart.

Feel really sorry for her. But at 19 maybe she has time to put it behind her going forward (we always look for positive angle don't we).

Our Top 2 midfielders gone. Sheesh. I had a little smile when Jones walked out of Carlton. Sorry guys - karma just bit my arse hard.

This is really disappointing. She had a great first season, was keen to play , fit and ready to go , and now suddenly her whole season is down the drain, through no fault of her own. I hope the club is providing her with all the support and encouragement she needs.

So that's Smith out and Patrikios in doubt. Not a good start for Dal. Both would have lifted a notch or 2 this year.
