Good get looks competitive in the ruck and won't be beaten outright like others.

I hope he does the job- was he not getting games at North due to Goldy being the main ruck?

Good. The ruck depth that we need.

Probably a step up from PHunter but at 30 it will only be a year or 2 until Carl MkII (Max) comes online

Hopefully Max gets a run next year as well

We wanted Ladhams but we were never going to get him. Didn’t rate Xerri, Campbell was always the next pick

Not a bad back up option

Big unit! But he is so muscle bound he can barely run.

Clearly North feel differently about Xerri

So why then did we try and get Xerri if we didn't rate him?

well we didnt rate him to the level of what North was asking... which wasnt that much.. we would have paid up if we did rate him highly which we clearly didnt...

but yes.. we did rate him enough to offer a late pick

Campbell looks another smart pick up
Sure he’s depth but he can go forward better than Hunter and for 1 year seems keen to help young Heath out
From Dogs/Roos fans he’s a ripping fella and a mountain of a guy who looks awkward but kicks ok and will be good around the club

I think all going well he should play a few games next season between injuries and “ managing/ resting” Roma and paddy. I’m guessing that was plan last year just that McK and Hunter weren’t quite good enough.

I think Tony is expressing his own opinion on Xerri, not that of the club.

Not sure how you call this a smart pick.
Its bloody awful.
Shows me we don't cherish spots on our list enough.
Its pure laziness from our recruiters and list management team to just tick a box and not scour the country for a better option.
Will remind you that Dean Cox, Aaron Sandilands, Rowan Marshall and Oscar McInerney all came off the rookie list.
You can seriously tell me this is the best option in Australia can you?
Bloody awful stuff from our club.
Another list clogger.
