Alabaskis struggled to jump. He never seemed to get much lift which highlights quad and glute strength - pretty critical in a ruck. I know he was tall but you still need the power to get up and also get kick off others players.

He also didn't have the low reach, could get down and then back up with speed.

He was ok marking but seemed out of position so much I don't know if it was lack of footy intuition or just couldn't get there.

I wish him well, he seemed nice, chatted to him twice once for 10 mins. He also looked like he worked hard which always gives clubs hope....might be why we held on
