Some info for Bowey Boy - nearly all team punters act as the holder for the kickers when they try a field goal or the extra point for a TD. They catch the ball from the snapper, spin it lace out (or however the kicker prefers) and then hold the ball steady at the top.

SO after a touchdown you can kick an extra point (6 becomes 7) or if needed you can go for 2 points (6 becomes 8) by trying to score another "touchdown".

Vikes were great against the Seahags! Watched most of that game. Niners gave up 17 to the Packers early then clawed our way to the lead with 37 seconds left. But lost to a field goal

He certainly got to have a few punts. One was quite short but it was a poor snap & he did well to control it and get a kick away. I thought he did OK, especially in Cowboy territory (on & off field).
