When Left is Right and Right is Wrong

Post: # 1910104Post damienc »

Who does this remind you of?

Recruiting Dan Hannebery was a great coup for the club. Yes he's had some soft tissue issues but we are confident we can get him right.

Trading Nick Hind to Essendon was the right move. We had too many guys in the team with his kind of pace. Besides he was never going to make it as a forward.

Max King doesn't need any help with his goal kicking. Besides Roughy will sort him out.

We've conducted an internal review. We've spoken to the players and told them they are all accountable for their own actions. We expect to see improvement even though doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result is the definition of insanity. By the way we've got nothing to say about the coaches or how well they are doing/not doing their job.

Answer: The current thinking ( or lack thereof) and approach of the St Kilda football club. That is why we are 13th with no prospect of playing finals footy this year with the second worst percentage in the competition.

CEO and COO will tell us what is right and wrong. Don't you worry about that.

It is puzzling why the team is performing so poorly and below potential when such clever chaps are making all the key decisions;

but those players you know......ingrates, so the floggings will continue (oh, an unintended pun).....

It's now Thursday of the Bye week and ALL the assistant coaches are still at the Saints.

Has someone been telling us Porkeys ?

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

That encapsulates St Kilda in a nut shell Teflon.

A 140 year history of one poor decision after another, followed by an array of excuses and then after a couple more years of torment they sack the coach and then the cycle starts again.
