Horses for courses

Post: # 1909783Post Yorkeys »

In a face saver, Saints could announce a selection policy based on a horses for courses approach.

In line with this policy, against Richmond - and possibly any other side above us - don't play Brad H. as they typically play really close, rough and stop skill being utilised by just tackling anyone with the ball or marking over opponents. Marking, across the board, is not our strength just yet.

(Also maybe don't put Jimmy W on Bolton. Not sure we have anyone to stop Bolton, need to go to the yearling sales.)

Ratts can then say, honestly, that Brad has not been dropped and the coach's judgement and patience is unchallenged. Brad would simply be on rotation until his skills can be best utilised. On another course.

Trying to help resolve what seems to be a selection deadlock. Of any use?

Suggest Brad Hill should be gelded.

And yes, we need to go to the yearling sales and avoid the 'tried horses' online sale.
