Re: Is Alan Richardson doing a good job?
I reckon it is impossible to know at this stage. I think a poor coach could make a good side average. I think a poor coach can make a bad side bad and I think a good coach can do bugger all to a bad side. The only thing I do know that even if AR can coach but we finish right near the bottom again n...

Re: Forwards on Debut
We have a good one on our hands. The fact that he couldn't take a grab on a wet day was almost a blessing. His follow up work and his work at ground level was fantastic. He has a brain. What is fantastic is that despite botching a few marks, he quickly recovered and impacts the next passages of play...

Re: Player raid warchest for 2016
Can we do 95% next year and then 110% instead in 2017 and go ballstic? I'd rather wait a year if we can do as I'm suggesting Agreed. We both need to be in a better spot re. where the list is moving but also become an attractive home for talent. Ideally we score one Free Agent or big trade and then ...

Re: Guess this weeks ins and outs
Depends on how they have pulled up after consecutive six day breaks. Saad maybe after his whack. Don't know why someone would think Shenton would need to be replaced after last weeks effort. I thought he should have been dropped after GWS however he redeemed himself well against GC. Don't think it ...

Re: Etihad likely to be liable re AstroTurf going to boundar
"The Close Call case" let's call it. Why does the artificial turf go right to the boundary line? Seems a bit stupid and looks like it may be the cause of a season ending ACL. Lucky for us, we don't have a game at Etihad for 3 weeks, so maybe the fake grass will be moved a bit closer to th...

Re: Some Perspective
The boys were fantastic on Saturday night. The effort and implementation of the planning put in by the coaching panel was first rate. We have every reason to be optimistic of the future. But let's look at a bit of reality here. The pressure Gold Coast put on us was abysmal. This helped us hit targe...

I think gws are by far the better of those sides..suns have Blighty behind the scenes and I think badly managed where by gws have had a lot more brains behind that club and have picked up better older guys to help guide the young ones and maybe better draft picks when they were setting up the club ...

Pick what, 48 (?), great talent identification.
The bloke wanted to leave and play for us. We only had a pick in the 40s left. He would have walked regardless.

Wright seemingly has a lead-foot. He runs quickly and kicks long.FQF wrote:Shents won't be dropped - was rock solid.
Nathan Wright has serious speed and good hands but his kicking is woeful at the moment. I assume we'll persist with him.

Re: Geary needs to have a big year
I don't think Geary needs to do too much more than play with intensity and help teach the kids to play with a zealous devotion to the game. He isn't a bad influence around a bunch of young kids. See I find this attitude really patronising toward Jarryn. There is this sense that this is his best and...

Hickey has a touch of class, is a goal kicking ruck and I suspect the only reason he is not selected yet is that Richo want's to make sure after lots of injuries, that Hickey's body is up to it. Mumford did better than Longer last week and contributed more to their win. It will be very important fo...

goal kicking midfielder gun potential all over him He needs to not be a small forward for his career as the % chance of him making it a good/meaningful is really low. Milne was an absolute freak both for his talents but also longevity. Similar to Roo, we should not look for replacements, just a bun...
