Great work, and thanks for doing all that.
Can we get to see the full count, just for interest?

Reading Carey senior in the Hun this morning gave me newfound respect for Wayne -- at least relatively speaking.

As far as role models go, Wayne obviously started off from a very, very low base.

If Goddard's in, then my guess is that it will be Geary who goes. It's either him or Raph or Gilbert -- I can't see anyone else at all being dropped. Neither of those three deserve to be dropped either, and Geary is perhaps the best of the three on form. But I think Gilbo and Raph are being expected...

I was just about to write the same as Brooksey's Babe -- it seems logical that Goddard will replace either Raph or Gilbert. I'd prefer all three in, but there are only 22 places!
I'm very keen to have Charlie Gardner in our forward line too. Same problem though. (Unless you drop Kosi on form.)

Fiora's pass to Gehrig at the 10 minute mark of the 3rd is one of the best massively long pin-point passes I've seen. His stab pass in the last was a ripper too. Plus mark of the week. Pretty good offering -- I'm happy to have him!

1 Hayes

2 Montagna

3 S Fisher

4 Ball

5 Blake

Don't know how X and Gram missed out, and Max and Gardiner great contributions, Milne + Gehrig -- scored goals!
Can we do our top 10 votes?

Kosi -- absolutely miserable.

These thoughts make sense to me too.
What would happen if we just lobbed it long into the middle of any flood? Aren't our forwards capable of winning 55-60% of any contests? Wouldn't that be enough to win us the game? With less fuss. And less frustration?

You know if it was Kosi he would be just about waking up in hospital right now  Sadly so true!! Couldn't believe how fast CJ recovered. This photo makes it look like the moment of death. Nothing against Mattner, who was brave too, but this photo does also prove (so sweetly) that it was a perfe...

What actually happened after quarter time?

Some of you out there have coached footy, and can read tactics and strategies. In the first quarter St Kilda played the football we hoped they'd play in '08. After that, they played to a completely different set of dictates. How did that happen, strategy-wise (or lack-of-strategy-wise)? (I can never...

Oops, sorry for spelling your name wrong Huzzad.

And you're right, too, Otiman. Unfortunately for Fiora he has to do more of what he obviously can do.

I like Fiora. But even better i like a team that he mightn't even get a place in.

I agree Huzzard. Fiora probably doesn't do quite as much as he should, but what he does do I like. He was terrific last year, towards he end, and I'm happy to have him in the team now.

I just posted this on another thread, but should have put it here: Raph is a terrible worry. Just cannot kick or handball with any urgency. His soft, ballooning passes put teammates under the hammer almost every time. Rievoldt almost broke his back stretching for one Raph pass floating languidly ove...

Watched it live and now on taped replay. There are quite a few players who looked good on telly but not live. And vice versa -- Harvey seemed to infuse the team with purpose on the night, but then he just didn't seem to be in the play much on the TV. Geary, on the other hand, got great TV coverage, ...

I only buy it to do the goal, behinds and total scores - for both teams, which I understand is not that common! It at least gets you through the train ride on the way home. Fingers crossed for Allen, but I don't think he's ready for serious seniors just yet. If we want to stretch them in the air, I wouldn't mind seeing Fiora rotated down forward. He can take an awesome mark. And when he thinks about it, he can also put his body in too. (or maybe when he doesn't think a...
