Re: Our ruckmen
Longer isnt the problem and i dont know why people keep going on like this. Hes slowly ironing out the issues of hand balling to players in trouble. He is starting to kick more. he's in the league ruck average of tackles with 3.5per, Averages 38.5 hitouts a game. My thinking with rucks has always be...

Re: Players on the chopping block
Personally i feel rooey and joey should hang them up come the end of this season. But if roo wanted to go on you cant say no. the blokes been there for 17 years and basically runs the joint now. if you can manage him, not take him interstate and save his legs against the bottom feeders then hes wort...

Re: Who comes in for Joey?
Is Rice up to it? I know a few people have been talking him up on here - but he didn't look all that in the game I watched on TV yesterday. He played very sore and injured. The kid never plays with his socks up so I imagine he was hiding strapping of some sort. He's also a bull in the contest. Copp...

Re: Changes vs. Port - Roo rested
Roo has to be rested he could barely move on Saturday night. Just out of curiousity do we think Stevens could be in trouble for the coat hanger on Parker? Or not enough in it? Definitely feel; WhIte, Rice and Membrey have to play. Lonie, Roo and Joey out. Then you just rotate acres, Steele, Dunstan ...

Re: I want to see us tackle to hurt.
A few blokes have to learn how to tackle first. Sinclair does too much of this corralling nonsense. Billings just never tackles unless he's forced to. Lonie just tackles in a dumb fashion. My thinking for him is that he's 10cm too short for the role he wants and 10kg too light to be playing the role...

Re: Team v Tigers
Maybe gonna play Long as a small defender, he's got speed and pressure, and played there as a junior didn't he? match him up against Dan Rioli, bit of a family Reunion, and I'd be fine with that I think you are spot on. Tigers have a bevy of small forwards. Each of our three ins can play down there...

Re: VFL Rd 11 Sandringham vs Werribee
Mckenzie was good in patches he was willing to take the game on, very good line breaker at VFL level.
Savage from an eyeball test looked good on a half forward flank. played a crucial role in the 3rd.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Dockers Round 15 2017
We're not a good side yet. However, we're not far off of it. Play poorly over in Perth, yet beating a side who had beaten Essendon, Bulldogs, and Carlton over there. No Nick, and no Jack Steven having an influence. Gutsy win, and a big win, This will be the turning point for our Club. Agree Bassoon...

that's just a veterans move. it'd be annoying to happen against us but that's a classic Veteran vs. Rookie move. If in doubt you look at the umpire.

Re: VFL Rd 11 Sandringham vs Werribee
Freemanfield still consigned to the rest of the year in the 2's after another day of leather poisoning? Some observers say his kicking is not fluid, he's not kicking through the ball, up and under, they're saying. We'll see what Gilbee says in the next few days. Very much Robert Harvey the 20m spec...

Considering what we all saw from Josh Battle today we have a sound replacement. Membrey, Bruce, Battle Paddy forward line is something to be scared of for the future.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Dockers Round 15 2017
Steele' second half won us the game, unbelievable effort, unbelievable to think the coach dropped him, utterly staggering. Membrey excellent . Billings big late. Lonie makes a lot of errors but at least he finds the ball and has a crack, more than a couple of others, but think he is only back up fo...

In another thread whoever said put Savage forward was right, battle is going to be a gun and Freeman is a class above at the level and very quick.

My understanding would be he's 16-17. Havent heard much on Voss' boy very hard to find details on father sons. I know Sziller's boy is getting a regular gig with sandy either in reserves or seniors.borderbarry wrote:How old is Sam Loewe ?

Re: Father SONS FOR 2016 AND BEYOND
Apparently a young man named Sam Leowe played very well against Carey Grammar in the top of the table clash with His school Hallibury winning. Nice Half Forward apparently.
