Re: 6 year old car or what?
I can just see it now, the winner offers to donate the car back to the club so they can sell it and the club says ‘nah, you can keep it’.

Re: Injury update
Better to be cautious with Gresh n rest him, due to his knee+drop in form. Frees up a spot for Hammer, then can retain Skunk. Name either Skunk or Hammer on bench maybe. Windy has to come in. Who do we drop? That’s the question. It’s good that there’s actually players we want to come in but is ther...

Re: Winning the worst game of footbal in 20 years.
Round 22, 2016 against Richmond stands out to me as the worst game I've ever seen. It started off brilliantly with Paddy McCartin kicking two quick goals on Alex Rance before going off concussed. We ended up winning 7.13 55 to Richmond's 6.10 46. David Armitage gave away 8 free kicks amongst his 11...

Re: Winning the worst game of footbal in 20 years.
If Billings comes in, and I think he is a less than 50% chance, it will be for the injured Gresham. But, even if Gresham is out, we might see Windy or Bytel. I could be wrong, but my sense is that Billings is further back in the queue in the minds of the selectors. King, if he’s truly ready, comes ...

Re: Jade, staying or going
A lot of water to go under the bridge but it's looking like a win-win scenario at this point in time. If he stays then I think that's great but if he goes we would be in a position to potentially match the bid and force a trade. Similar to Ross and Billings. We make a reasonable offer, his manager ...

Re: Tasmania- Why a brand new stadium?
Good luck to Tassie. I’m glad they have a side. My only reservation is that every time they add a new franchise it devalues our own. IMO 19 teams is too many. Fourteen was more than enough. Conferences is up next. Premierships are going to be a once-in-a-lifetime event unless you are lucky or suppo...

Re: Tasmania- Why a brand new stadium?
I also heard a snippet of the future father/son rule. The 19th team would have access under the proposed rule to the offspring of any Tasmanian who played 100 AFL games. Don't know if that would rope Roos' three boys in or not. I heard that it would only relate to players drafted from Tasmania. Nic...

I think you're right. Just quietly, I'm surprised he isn't getting more praise in the media or on commentary. When he drilled that goal from 60 on the run, none of the commentators mentioned him by name or sounded that excited (almost like they didn't know who it was at first and had to check their...

Re: Behind Play
All of the above statements point towards a fine for Caminiti - and I do not wish to discuss what the penalty ended up - my SOLE objection to all of this is BEHIND PLAY! Hammer is a forward - forwards need to create space. If the ball, which was less than 50 metres away, spilled clear, Hammer had p...

Prior to today people were saying we hadn’t played anyone. Well we played someone today and got within a kick while missing Steel, Membrey and King (plus a few others that would probably be in our best side).
We can only get better from here. Bring on the rest of the season.

Re: NAS signed
There's a level of fragility that supporters and clubs expect from players, it's only natural. Then the dialogue starts: He is too skinny. He can't tackle. He isn't strong enough. He will get homesick. Nasiah is the best top 10 pick with we've had in years and he has been instrumental in our turnar...

If I was to post something along the lines of, "Seb Ross is a total waste of space on the footy field" "Farkin Seb Ross we should get rid of him " etc etc (just for an e.g), and I was to post that 8 times a quarter would you defend my right to do so? It would probably be a bit e...

Gives a contest in the and then follows it up at ground level. I can’t wait until he and Phillipou are rotating between midfield and forward with King, Membrey and two of Gresham, Higgins and Butler.

Re: how are we supposed to improve?!
Fielding the suggestion that all AFLW coaches and assistant coaches should be restricted to women. Merit? I think the first step will be to have a quota of female assistant coaches in the AFLW. There were a few female coaches in the first season of the AFLW but within a couple of years I think we w...

Hi anyone else get a message from Kayo about increasing prices. My current package is to double. FFS, does every business/entity/profession in Australia go the gouge? Don't even mention the RBA or insurance companies. Seems Kayo/Fox effectively negotiated exclusive streaming rights for most games a...

Re: Scott Boland or Josh Hazelwood?
Boland’s test record to date and his record at the G make it almost impossible to leave him out. Given that they have back to back tests I think the best thing to do would be to play Boland on his home deck, give Hazelwood another week to get himself right and then play him on his home deck.

I changed my mind (I can see you yawn..) Jack Hayes I reckon Hayes will be the guy they focus on as FF..which means less ruck emphasis for him They might rotate a number of players through ruck to give Marshall a break. So if you lot are at training, see if you can see drills that show this.. I bas...

Just to take this in another direction … I hope we sign Stack Very good footballer I agree. Hopefully Auntie Katrina will take him under her wing and he’ll get some stability. He could bring some things that we need re spark, X factor, match winning ability. Would come a lot cheaper than Degoey.

Mike, who was wearing the No.47 training top ? Was that Hotton (39) who injured his side or back and went off for treatment and was then seen back on the field talking to Ross ? I noticed Connolly was consistently at the back of his running group during most of his runs. doesn't appear to be one of...
