Havnt gone through the draft picks yet, but though I might be in the minority I'm happy with two picks 7 and 8.

Don't get the trade for 2 and 21... it's supposed to be a shallow draft .. so why would we want a 21 pick, that is likely to be about a player of about pick 30 or so in a strong draft?? I reckon in such an even draft we will score two rippers at 7 and 8, there's a good chance Collingwood will go key...

I think there's another factor. Interstate teams, specifically West Coast and Adelaide (AND GEELONG !) find talent and hide talent then pick them up as 3rd or 4th rounders. Look at their selections in that range and you will find some "brilliant" choices I suspect the interstate teams do ...
