Re: Now it's time to play the kids
An illusion, skeptic. One in a long line of St.Kilda Mirages. How many have delivered? None. Move along now folks, nothing to see here.

Re: Now it's time to play the kids
Let's face it. We're not going to win a flag under AR, or anyone else in the immediate future. GWS have the next few in their keeping, and Sydney, Adelaide, Geelong and several others are way ahead of us. In three years time, Mr. Pleasing will get the arse along with numpty Elshaug and we'll start a...

Re: Match Thread Saints v Bombers Round 17 2017
Are we the Schizo Saints? Great one week, Horrendous the next I can't diagnose the team, but, on the evidence of this blog and Big Footy, the supporter base is definitely bipolar. Do you blame them? Five decades of s*** like this. They let us down at every turn. Whether it be home and away, finals ...

Re: Match Thread Saints v Bombers Round 17 2017
Ladies and gentlemen. Let's not forget this team we're playing collapsed against the Brions. Long way to go. We've stunk the joint up so far, but they've given us a tiny ray of hope. Not over quite yet. The dopers are crap. If we can bring our A game out after half time we can still run them down. I...

Plenty of inside 50's. Nothing to show for it. Surely we're better than what we've just shown. Thank goodness for flakey Jakey. It could've been a lot worse.

Re: Carro the hypocrite
At the time, certain journalists were unable to publish the facts about the beginning of the saga as the person with said facts was bullied and threatened to say nothing. They had been lined up to go public but backed out at the last minute. For the same reasons, it would be very foolish to discuss...

Re: Carro the hypocrite
I alway love it when the schoolgirl topic comes up. Everyone has an opinion even though so few know the real story. It's not a story that the club wants to get out. Some journos know the real story and couldn't print it. The others who know the truth were bullied and threatened into staying quiet. ...

Re: 100,000 people booing as one
It's presented by a former winner 2012 - Kemp (1994) 2013 - Williams (1995) 2014 - Archer (1996) 2015 - McLeod (97-98) 2016 - Shannon Grant (1999) 2017 - Hird (2000) In this case I would've hoped they'd make an exception. I have an idea. If he tells the AFL what his players were injected with, he s...

Re: Dons Game- Many dimensions
That sort of churn is fairly typical of a team that's rebuilding its list. Only two of those changes due to injury/suspension. Major improvement on that bottom line, IMHO. Maybe jiggster's right after all!

Re: Daniel McKenzie
Will DMack stay in ahead of Acres? Did they take Acres off at Sandy at half time because he was in line for a call up? I'm puzzled by the management of Acres if he doesn't come back this week. Not good for either's continuity if they miss. DMack as the incumbent has the inside running.

Re: Paddy misses 2 weeks with concussion!
So Paddy goes into the contest either too hard or foolhardy. Take your pick. Roo and other big boys go in hard also without doing the same damage to their brains. So unless he can significantly change the way he plays without becoming a soft outside receiver it's not looking good. Too hard, too foo...

Re: Paddy misses 2 weeks with concussion!
Put the boy in cotton wool for the rest of the year. It's clear there is a significant problem, far worse than they're letting on. Missing five weeks, probably more in the end, from a knock like that indicates there is something seriously wrong. Give him an extended break from contact work and let h...

Re: Richo is a very good coach
I just checked out the optiscan website. I wonder if these old blokes realise how totally out of touch they make themselves look by not having a single woman in their whole team. They'd do much better to leave out the photos of all their ugly mugs - then maybe no one would notice! Given Archie's tr...

Re: Richo is a very good coach
I meant don't mention him as I'd almost forgotten about him and the post triggered me. Not a criticism of the post. A criticism of Archie Fraser. What's old Arch doing now? Wasn't he going to be CEO of the breakaway soccer league for Clive Palmer?
