Re: Intra club game

One post says Sippos was disappointing. One says he was a class above the others. Anyone else see his game. Hard to get an indication from 2 posts so different. Sippos was a class above, had a ripping kick to a leading Kosi, a few good intercept marks, disposal was very very sharp. He was anything ...

Re: BJ offered $1.9m over three years

Tough call, I don't mind what BJ does. He has done it all, given 100%, and deserves ever penny he gets. I couldn't blame him for leaving, and there is probably more logic in doing so, financially, potentisl premierships. It's just a matter of how much BJ values the intagibles such as being a 1 club ...

Re: Royal Perth G.C. took membership inquiry for Goddard - c

The only way Goddard goes and we get anything in return is a trade, or a compensation pick from the AFL (for loosing him), not a combination of the two. Being restricted just means the club has an opportunity to match any offer, and if we do that, then Goddard stays. Goddard's options are: staying w...

Re: VFL Rd 22- Sat and Sunday-- TV game TEAMS

Did anyone see that contest by Raph? I would NOT wont to be Raph when Watters see's that vision. Pretty dissapointing stuff. Otherwise Dunnel looks lively Peake trying hard and giving lots of effort, but not getting much. Dowler looks alright, wouldnt be too opposed to looking at him come draft time.

Re: Sippos and simpkin

Been a while since I've been excited about some of our youth. Clearly bias but I can't help but think Siposs has the potential to be a very very good player. Simpkin is a gem, going to be one of those super reliable guys who does the team thing every time, not too sure on his cieling, which is excit...

Ross not many

Looked like ledge was tagging someone at stages, but I was only half half watching the game.

Ray was really good, him and Wilkes our best. Cookie and Cook are solid sandy players, no worse than say Polo.

Re: VFL Rd 13 - Sandy vs Casey- Sat 23rd- scores & more

Geeez. Opportunities gone missing. Think it was Cook who blazed away when Archer was 1 on 1 with literally half a ground to himself. Unlucky by Ray, but fair from his fault there. Not a great day for big men. Though there is a bi difference between Wilkes and Archer, Arch I think is just a bit too l...

Re: Our use of the substitute

It's also important to consider the roles the sub can play. Sometime the sub is brought on in not ideal circumstances, such as early injury. In these cases they may be required to get extended game time, or play out of position (unless we rotate other players around). I think ideally the role of the...

Re: What's up with Sam GILBERT?

He's just not that good. Sam has some good physical attributes, can tackle well, and in terms of playing a defensive role is ok. He is just a terrible user of the ball. Non existant right foot, and EVERYONE knows it. He got away with his shimmy two step in that breakout year, but now opposition know...

Re: your top 10 saints WINS and why?

TS40 This, was just amazing. It kind of stamped our rise from the bottom of the ladder. At this point I knew it was a changing of the times. Also Gardiner's amazing game against Geelong. Last night had a feel about it as well. I honestly can't remember having 70 odd point by half time, and actually...

I think our best possible results it a Prelim.

I think the highest we can get is really 5th/6th.

I'm cool with that, as long as we achieve so putting games into new players and getting some developing youth having solid contributions.

Bj could be doing 5kg dumbell curls for all I care. When your football smarts are good enough to make 90% of the competition look silly, athletic prowess means little.

Never a shortage of people looking for these positions. What is harder though is finding someone experienced and with a good history. I'd imagine at least a few people who have been there for the past few years would still be around (people who have lesser roles). Like the Physio's, 'medical officer...

Absolutely nothing confirmed it was us. Though it is a fair assumption to think we could be this club. Logically, it would be a contender or someone up there.
