Actually the Russell Greene trade was initiated by Jesaulenko (a candidate for StKilda's worst coach) at a time when mid-year trades were allowed. Jesaulenko was keen on a full forward (I think it was Mark Scott or similar name) who was a player who could dominate reserve grade but was useless in se...

For Hall we got picks 13 -used for Dal santo ,pick 17 (Heath black) and pick 45 (Trent Knobel)
Picks 21 (Maguire) and 37 (Montagna) were our picks.
A great draft 2001 !

Yes we got pick 13 which we used for Dal Santo and i think also the pick which we used for either Maguire or Montagna, so not a bad deal.

McQualter is not in the Scorpions team. Does that indicate he will play in the senior team?

The main training sessions are all closed sessions.
The one open training session is mainly for the fans and one for the media to attend.
I dont think the players are expected to train hard on this day, and all set plays and fitness tests are done behid closed doors.

Milne is leading our goalkicking with 26 at an average of 2.36 per game.
In addition has provided at least 10-15 goal assists.
I think he deserves his spot.

When Baker had 3 weeks added to his penalty re Farmer incident (that no one saw!) this was because of his poor record. At the time I thought it was said to be any offences for the last three years, which is why the "attempted strike" was included from more than a year before. The attempted...

Why do we not have a kicking coach when it would appear we need it more than most other teams?
I thought the Westaway admin was putting more money into this sort of thing.

Unfortunately he has been one of those players who are very good at VFL level but struggles with the step up to AFL
His last game was against the Tigers in round 22 last year and he had a very poor game with only 5 disposals.
I remember watching the match and thinking he was likely to be de-listed.

I think no matter how bad we are going we will always beat carlscum. -10 in a row now isn't it?
Talking of draft concessions -how about the last 3 number ones and a number 2 as well -the number 2 probably sums up carlton

One or two of the players chosen for Casey will perhaps withdraw, otherwise we will have 4 players in the team to play the pies with a 5 day break. You would think Blake would be a chance to help in defence with goose out.

I remember the match at Arden strret as I was in the outer.
It was the opening round and Plugger played in the reserves.
From memory he kicked about 4.

With Maguire now out for the season is it worth promoting McQualter and giving him another try?
His form with Casey this season has been good and he will know it's his last chance.
He can provide more run and rotation in the midfield and is also a goal kicking midfielder.

I am new to the forum but a long time follower of the saints and reader of the forum. I believe the main reason the dome has a high injury toll is its hardness, which is caused by the concrete car park roof with only a metre of soil above it which has compacted and is like concrete. I think the gras...
