Re: Hinkley says that saints poor treatment of Ratts didn't surprise him.

Pretty sure it has been documented that many in the squad were disengaged under Ratts towards the end It's not the players had to abide by Rattens sacking because likely the players wanted it You continue to make broad statements without substance. First you claimed it's evident what Ratts wasn't b...

Re: Training- Monday February 20

Hi guys. Please avoid making personal or derogatory comments regarding other posters. It ends up with thread derailments like this. If you think a post constitutes baiting, report it.

Membrey Knee Op

From Stavro4 on Big Footy quoting Tom Browne on Twitter : “Just a brief one from St Kilda, forward Tim Membrey is having a clean up / operation on his knee. Not ideal timing obviously “ Then Stavro wrote : “ Tweaked his knee last Friday in a marking contest but ran around the boundary afterwards. Lo...

Re: West Indies in Australia.. Train wreck?

Whatever the vagaries of pitches in different parts of the world and how they’re prepared, selectively watering outside the right handlers off stump and not outside the left handlers is next level. Unsporting at best, outright cheating at worst. Not surprised though. Bad optics, but had zero impact...

Re: Training reports

And from the AFL website.

Says that Caminiti was very impressive and quickly moved from the top up second string team to the stronger team at training.

my apologies to all and the moderator... there were no posts removed from this thread. Yeah, there were posts removed. Re: Wilke press conference

Also to clarify - the only reason I sometimes delete posts is if there are duplicates of a post or in the case of a post incurring a suspension because it's particularly crude or offensive. In those cases I try to remove the original as well as all quotes and copies of the original so the offensive ...

Re: Training

Well I’m so glad RTB is in charge now. He’ll whip these boys into shape Can’t imagine how far they would have dropped if we hadn’t made the big change Spot on Firey Below from Stav on BF articulates the shift at the club already - re skills we need to 1. Re: Training

I haven't been able to ever watch it again either. As Killa said the loss of both our ruckmen had a massive impact. Nicky's dad died the day before the game and Buckets had a family tragedy as well. The stars didn't align yet we were still in it at 3/4 time. Sigh....

Re: Training

What critical mistake did he make game day? I remember the crap personal issues in the week leading up to the GF, but can't remember the critical mistake. I do remember sitting there glum faced whilst Jarman went mental in the last QTR and the funereal walk down Brunton Ave afterwards.
