why hasn't anyone criticised plugger66's omission of a question mark? i thought the forum had been invaded by librarians - people with little time for, or understanding of, sarcasm (swiss fans?)

Well done milney - only winner we had. The tiges must be wondering how they lost.

12 wins may not make the 8 - our percentage will work against us - the boys need to learn to crush teams and not take the foot off the pedal - remember a few years back when we'd thrash the inferior clubs (milney v brisbane a perfect example) -should have done the same to essendon and carlton this y...

THE SW-AINTS

"SYDNEY SWANS’ coach Paul Roos says when Ross Lyon departed the Harbour City for his new post at the helm of the Saints, he took one vital piece of documentation with him – The Sydney Swans’ game plan book.

“I’ve never seen his game plan book but he’s got mine,â€

'intensity' is all important - it's why blake should be in! I wasn't a fan of blakes (in the mould of troy schwarzer - without the kick), but if he plays with more desire and discipline than better players he should be in -hopefully they'll have a look at themselves and match his willingness. One ex...

I'm positive we'll beat richmond - we are not playing to anywhere near our potential - we controlled essendon and carlton, and outswanned the swans, but played terrible footy for the other 3 games -bar 2 first quarters. Port always beat us (except when missing easy goals) so no real alarm bells at t...

We still have the best jumper (and since the expansion teams we no longer have the worst song) We have 101 wooden spoons (soon) We can keep score with just our fingers We have a coaching turnover of around 3 years (hopefully less this time) But.. we have one more year of Harvs -the only true legend ...

I agree with the clubs we're above and below, but disagree on the 'pars - potentially we're on a par with those clubs - currently all of them are playing better footy!

my family no longer joins me for saint games -too boring and frustrating for them -and i have to agree - only i can't give up on them. But through all the lean years - 70s and 80s (oh and the watson years) i have never been so frustrated with my team. They are BORING - i don't think i could enjoy it...

A decent post - so why the childish replies? A first time poster may not be a fairweather friend as implied, today was my first on this particular site as well yet i've been a rabid sainter since i can remember (obviously longer than anyone born after the 60s). Is the idea to chase off any new voice...

what we need?

Simple fact - the saints ARE good enough, but never are good enough - now if we could discover the switch that turned Geelong from potential champions to champions we WILL be champions. I have an idea it's about motivation -the will to win, the strength to push harder, the support of your team mates...

get used to it

ratismeat said 'Pretty boring, weak, sickening football tonight.'

When isn't it under Ross? One exception -vs WC -but then we were playing for Harv's, not Ross!

Supporters aren't reacting simply because we stand 3/3. They aren't even reacting to the fact our club is not progressing in the way our new coach promised. Rather we are reacting to the fact that the team and the individual players are playing far worse footy than we have seen under the previous co...

TIME IS ALMOST UP ROSS

ACCOUNTABILITY -Ross's favourite word -well let's apply it to him shall we. What are your indicators of success Ross - aside from getting a team into the eight? (a team that finished every home and way in the top 5 for the last 3 years -including the 2006 injury riddled year) - FAIL! How about forwa...
