Gilbert is an important part of our team in my opinion. One of the only defenders willing to tuck it under his arm and take on the opposition in order to gain that extra ten metres. I think Pre-Season is more about nailing in game plans, improving skills, and stuff like that. At all levels there is an expectation that you come back to training with a reasonable level of fitness, if not, you're just playing catch up to everyone else all season.

He's a bit of a d**khead, but he will probably out into his place by the senior players no matter where he goes

I'm pretty sure Dempster is up there as one of our fittest players, or at least he was about a year or two ago. Not too sure anymore.
