When he started I lived in Perth, the last of my three years there. The next year I moved to London and had to wait until Monday morning to pick up TNT outside a tube station to see how we went. To get a few details I had to go down to Australia House to read the papers. Now I either watch it live h...

Agree absolutely. Watched it twice now. Great stuff...was on Setanta Sports.
Great win. Momentum is a great thing. We had no spirit at the beginning , and they were all blood brothers at the end.

Looking forward to the rest of the season!

Hi Loris, good to hear you'll be over. I'm away at that time for a while, but am sure we can sort out a get-together over a red or two.

Spud not only has to overcome Verdun Howell at full back, but also the man who took his place, Bob Murray, who was also a more than useful full back. Quite right Mr Magic and Mr Shakey. Hard to push out either of those players. Spud was terrific, great heart, tough, wonderful leader. Both the other...

Great news about Setanta. I subscribe and was worried they wouldn't do AFL this year. I wrote them an email a few weeks ago, but didn't get a reply. They're hopeless on that front. Would love to meet up with fellow Sainters to watch, but I'll be in Edinburgh for the Rugby ( gggrrr) , but onto St And...

We went through this a few months ago....well covered.

Mr Magic is dead right from what I've heard over the years....and yes, the magpies have their own bad stories.

And Stinger ( as usual ) is spot on about the trolls. Love his work. We'll have a beer one day when I can get to Melbourne!

Pretty sure his Dad was Frank Misson who opened the bowling for NSW and Australia in the late 50's early 60's. Was known for his fitness, at a time when blokes just turned up and played.

Bit of useless trivia for you there!

They had Baker lined up

The AFL that is. They were embarrassed by the Faux Pas earlier in the year and have bided their time. I posted elsewhere that this proves they make it up as they go along. I'm all for retribution, but the job at hand is to beat the West Coast this week. That's all that matters. I can see the managem...

The Hayes into the fence one took the biscuit. This has got beyond a joke. I was at the Gabba when they got into Roo. Rough? Surely not.

Just shows they make it up as they go along. No precedent, no credibility.
