Re: Trade - Draft Discussion
I hear the sun's are looking to off load Chol for a salary dump. Like Geelong and Bowls last year, this is a perfect opportunity for us to get another top 10 ten pick and a decent player who could benefit our structure. Adding 2 potential stars would be more beneficial to our succes than adding a fr...

Re: The worst umpiring decision ever
The AFL says all goals get reviewed, so the bigger question is Why didn't Cameron's goal get recalled? As it was clearly out of bounds

What do we need to improve in 2024?
Yesterday we were simply out classed by the Sun's. They had better skills, a better attack on the ball and sadly more desire.
So who can we attach that will make us a better team in 2024?
It's important to keep our first pick, so how do we get an A grade mid and make our forward line function??

Re: Line up this week,
We the don't have many options, we need to win to make finals. Last week despite the loss we played well, apart from kicking at goal & the connection with the Forward line. If we move the ball fast and lower the eyes we're in with a chance. B: Stocker, Howard, Wilkie HB: NWM, Battle, Webster C: ...

Re: Melbourne...wheres the games biggest concern?
This is a massive game. I believe after it we will generally know where we sit, and the result show determine how we approach the rest of the year. I am very concerned after having the pleasure of watching the Melb v Saints preseason game. Where they demolished us. However saying that if we can matc...

Re: Jack Hayes
I really liked what I saw, even though it was only a small sample size. But for some reason I dont feel he's a natural forward, he needs time up the ground. In the SANFL he excelled as a mid/Forward and even spent time on a HBF. He's currently listed as 2-3 weeks away, I'd love to trial him at sandy...

Say good bye to finals
We are simply not good enough. Our mids are old and pathetic, our forward line is young and our back line has massive holes!! And our coaching box now seems slow to make a change. How can we keep letting the opposition have a spare back to continually intercept?? And Howard MUST be dropped!!! We may...

Re: Billings Mackenzie Jones........
Radical thought... Could swing Caminiti to the backline to see how he goes. We know he can take a grab, and attacks the ball hard, not sure how quick his decision making is or how disciplined he is.

Re: Unlucky for Peris
I would of loved to see him as well!! And think he was in with a shot. Just look at Davey from the Bombers, he has speed, a step and a defensive mind set when he doesn't have the ball. Davey is making an impact at AFL level despite his below par kicking. So I cant see why Peris wouldn't make some de...

Luke Shuey….. No no no no no. His body was cooked 2 years ago Should have been pushed out, but Eagles predicament means they had to keep him. Their version of Hannebery. I'm certainly not ITK so I'll believe you when you say Shuey's cooked. But we need to investigate potential A grade targets that ...

Re: Harry Himmelberg
Spend the $900,000 on Harry, and trade Howard (he have to be on at least $600,00). So massive up grade for not much cost.
Then I'd also look at Darcy Parish, Matthew Flynn & Luke Shuey who are all free agents. Then hit the draft for some more young talent. As our midfield needs some work.

Just a few changes to try for Sydney: Webster, Howard, Wilkie Sinclair Battle NWM Hill Windy Wood Butler Caminiti, Steele Marshall, King, Higgins Campbell, Crouch, Owens Clark, Stocker, Connolly, Byrnes Bytel / Billing’s / Gresham - depending on who’s the fittest and willing to gut run I’d like to p...

Selection committee & coaches need to take a good hard look at the selves.
- Tom Campbell needed to play
- I've seen 2 games live this year, and the game plan looks shot compared to the Essendon game.
- no ball movement
- no hard running to be seen

Re: What do these inclusions mean?
The bench will be: Clark (lock for mid rotation), Butler (has applied pressure & hit scoreboard in the last few weeks) Sharman (played Cordy’s role and more last week) and Paton (part of back rotation, although would prefer Webster) Sub: Gresham or Campbell if they are concerned about Marshall P...

It a tough call and about getting the balance right. Last week they looked to have lost a little of that determination & fight.
In: King (if fit), Caminiti, Billings (sub) Webster
Out: Membrey, Gresham (inj), Bytel, Paton

I don't believe the club would be risking him, if there was a chance he could hurt it further. Sometimes you just need to play through pain. And some are better at that than others.

Re: Round 1 side
I researched the game on the weekend. And came away with the realisation Clark need to be a starting mid! Despite fumbling and running over the ball a few times, he was very good at being involved in the 1st or 2nd posession at stoppages or at contests. I actually thought he was more damaging than S...
