Re: Where was the 300th for ....
Was there one for Nathan Burke? Good Question , I Dont think there was maybe because it wasnt a St.Kilda home game I think they gave everyone a NB face mask. Or was that for his last game? There were Robert Harvey hand held face masks for his 324th game (club record) and a similar sized hand held #...

I re-read Stewart Loewe's certificate and his was for breaking the club games record, not for his 300th game.mcadam05 wrote:mambo2706 wrote:Was there one for Nathan Burke?

Re: 1996 St Kilda v Footscray
I remember Stan Alves saying after the game that even if we had have lost it wouldn't have meant the players loved Barks any less.
My Uncle, who was a mad Saints fan and went to every match, died the day before Barks. Was the saddest game I've ever attended.

Re: The ULTIMATE trivia post!!!
I'm 99% sure Steven Sziller was one. I think one of the twins was another but not sure if it was Weaklin or Wanklin. Have no idea who the third player is. Thought maybe Daniel Healy but I think he played in the late 90s so that time frame doesn't work.

Re: The ULTIMATE trivia post!!!
Another question to keep the game moving. Plugger kicked 100+ goals in a season 3 times for the Saints. Every time he kicked his 100th goal was from a set shot. Name the players who passed the ball to him on each occasion as well as the year.

Re: The ULTIMATE trivia post!!!
Thanks brother :D In the late 1980's the Saints had two players on their list with the exact same given and surnames. Their middle name even had the same initial. One was recruited from Fitzroy. The other was eventually traded to Fitzroy. What was their name? Don't know, but reckon it would be some...

Re: The ULTIMATE trivia post!!!
I remember Gordon Fode kicking a bag of points out at Waverley. From memeory 7 or 8. I know Plugger kicked 7 so I'll say 8 unless they share the record. Can't remember if he debuted as a 17 year old though. I do remember he filled in at full forward for a few games.

Re: The ULTIMATE trivia post!!!
Spot on on the first three bergholt. I can only just remember the fourth player and from what I can remember he wasn't our best player but certainly not the worst. He played a handful of games with Hawthorn before crossing to the Saints in 1982. He was then traded to the Brisbane Bears. He is ........

Re: The ULTIMATE trivia post!!!
despite Kosi and I trying - this thread never made it past 2014 maybe a simple stat question- easy to find answer for those who know where in a list dominated by Loewe, Riewoldt and Fisher S which Saints player has taken the most marks in a game? I remember Loewe taking 18 marks in a game. Actually...

Re: Do we all consider Riewoldt better than J.Brown
He obviously believed Winmar helped him as he advised the Swans strongly to go after Winmar when he arrived at Sydney. He also played alongside Craig O'Brien, a forward who had his career ressurected by St. Kilda and who kicked 60 goals for us twice -. Where do you get your stats from? I'd try anot...

Re: Do we all consider Riewoldt better than J.Brown
I think Roo is easily the better player. I think it's unfair that people say Brown is because he played in three premiership teams. Using that logic Cam Mooney is a better player than Plugger. I also think that Roo's mark from 2007 is better than Brown's in 2002 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJGeS...

Round 2 1989 vs Carlton at Moorabbin. Plugger kicked 10 playing on SOS including the winning goal with 34 seconds left. Best game I have ever seen. 2009 vs cats also up there.

Yep. Great calendar. I've got one hiding in the bottom of the cupboard somewhere. Probably the best calendar the Saints have had.
Does this have anything to do with this topic? Sorry. Not trying to be rude. Just wondering if I've missed something.
