Hard to see what recruiters saw in him to be a top 10 pick. We had a real preference for drafting flankers for a number of years and he was another.

Bytel is another Luke Dunstan. Great local footballer but nowhere near AFL standard.
Peris extremely lucky to get one AFL game. Not in top 20 players in his Dragons team when put on list.

Every week opposition intercepting defender gets BOG.
Not just forwards at fault. Would help if midfielders lowered the eyes like Crouch did then.

Can clear a bit of salary cap space by moving on Billings, Jones and Gresham and really don’t lose anything on field.
Bytel is not costing lot - it’s just whether he is good enough.

I get very nervous anytime he goes near the ball.
Panics and makes bad decisions both with and without the ball.
