I hate the bulldogs for a number of reasons. Their coach and previous coach... Barry Hall... But the main reason is deep set when I was about 7 years old... I went to a game at Western Oval with my parents and at some stage my late mother was continually beaten on the head with an umbrella by an ir...

You must leave now, take what you need, you think will last.
But whatever you wish to keep, you better grab it fast.
Yonder stands your orphan with his gun,
Crying like a fire in the sun.
Look out the Saints are comin' through
And it's all over now, Baby Blue.

Re: Those Baker masks?

Is someone/people still gonna make up a heap of face masks/cut out's to sell at the game on sunday?? At least us supporters can support Bake's!! How about you do your own and cut Bake's eye out from the HS (must be hundred's to choose from) and with a piece of string turn it into a Steve Baker eye ...

Took him a while to get a kick - had around 11 handballs first. His initial reaction is a backwards handball. Not sure he had much in the way of assists early either. He lifted as did most in the 2nd half and scored a few goals and went in hard that will keep him in again. Mini's performing the mini...

I think sometimes it gives the opposition time to man up or zone when Dal or BJ run up to take the kick whereas a player closer to the ball and goal could get it moving quicker. While Dal is one of the best he did 2 shockers in a row on Sunday with 1 horrible turnover resulting in a goal. Just seems...

In fact we were belted all over the ground. A very poor game all around. But recoverable ... 5/2 after round 7 without Roo is respectable IMO. But they way we played tonight is not ... If it was the last day in September, or first week in October, and we were playing Carlton in the GF on damp, cold...

Re: Changes next week

On the 'he hardly touched it' premise you could drop a lot worse than Steven who at least made the most of his opportunities. Dal Santo, has been excellent, enough said. Mini's gone IMO. Raph perhaps not far behind. Bad move leaving Armo out despite need for speed, he has to come back. Stanley why n...

Loved the way Raph attacked the game from the first bounce. You could see he was on early. He and the entire team fumbled and fell and stuffed up all match but he and the team perservered and his final quarter like many others was fantastic.

Harbrow? Yes he's quick and can find his way through traffic. But if you want to talk absolute stars and best on ground look no further than Lenny Hayes. Harbrow's star burnt out in the last and the Doggies ran out of puff and luck. Lenny while making a few mistakes...definitely not alone...but like...

Maxwell, Malthouse, Maguire...triple embarrassment. Maxwell's role as captain in the well-oiled Magpies media machine is to undermine opposition at every opportunity.
