Re: Tarryn Thomas, anyone?
Not sure where you are getting your information from but the stats clearly demonstrate that violent crime has been falling over time in Australia. https://www.abs.gov.au/statistics/people/crime-and-justice/crime-victimisation/2021-22#personal-crime-summary I’ve even summarised the key parts nicely ...

With players coming back it might be his turn to drop out, a few weeks in the 2s should do him some good.

Re: King ...out of form or
Every time the ball came towards him tonight it seemed to be on top of his head while he was wrestling.
I did see a few times he got out but the delivery was poor.
I don’t think we know how to use him.

Re: Match Thread: Saints vs Roos
Some good performances, but pretty uninspiring all round. Barely kicked 100 against North, only outscored them by a goal in the second half. Darcy Wilson very good. Dougal had a good first half then turned back into Dougal in the second. King is constantly in a wrestle. Maybe you are just too hard ...

King has been burnt a few times by horrible delivery.
Our tackling is still putrid.

And no stats are cherry picked, and I am not trying to make out that men are hard done by. I am merely pointing out that mindlessly regurgitating simplistic phrases like "men must do better" will not resolve the issue, because the issue is not simple, and it is not a gendered issue. Havin...

Nicky Winmar making a gesture towards feral Collingwood fans after a win That was at least a footy related issue I was a great ‘moment’ but has it stamped out racism in society? Bit different to entire rounds to different causes Like most others I am not a woman basher I am not racist I am not homo...

Re: Tarryn Thomas, anyone?
I find it baffling every time that supporters from the club Nicky Winmar played for come out with the "footy shouldn't be political / support societal issues" line. Truly mindboggling. well mate, while your mind is boggled I'll concentrate on the footy thanks. Each to their own I suppose....

When someone beats their partner because they're in a foul mood after their team loses, I think that means sport has already been brought into it.

Yeah I think don't throw him straight into the fire first week up and also give the Kangas more motivation.
We struggled to look good against these bottom teams last year, don't need to give them any more reason to fire up!

Re: No Pressure
Not surprising, it's been very apparent the last 3 weeks our tackling has been woeful. The opposition have no respect for us, they basically just try run passed/through our players as if they're not there, and if they do manage to get snagged, they just free their arms and dispose of the ball quite ...
