Re: Dan McKenzie

I read yesterday that he strained his hammy training with Freo and now isn't going to the Gold Coast to train.

Very sad for Dmac, that maybe it for him now. :(

Re: Gresham

This whole situation is bewildering. Why isn't Essendon lodging the paperwork? Perhaps on paper the offer is rather "lowball" and St.Kilda would obviously match it forcing Essendon into a trade. I say "on paper" because the real deal could involve sweeteners like bulls*** jobs at...

Re: Ladder predictor

At the start of the year 10 AFL Journalists, (term used very loosely), predicted how the ladder would look at the end of the year. All 10 had us in the bottom 6, and 7 had us in the bottom 4. More than half picked StKilda to be the biggest slider for the year. Barrett had us higher than anyone in 13...

Re: Clarko and the Hawks disgusting behaviour.

Kennett was actually the reason that Rioli retired. He is as bad as anyone at that club.

Don't forget they also had a paedophile as their team manager during this period as well. So much for being the family club.

It depends on how you look at it.

We have beaten two sides currently in the eight and we haven't played any of the bottom six yet.

The correct answer is "No".

You can add Henry to that list as well.

I was daydreaming about this the other day. Imagine picking up a player of Nicks quality every two years over a six year period. We would have the best FF, CHF, and CHB in the league.

When he was playing VFL for Essendon he was playing as a line breaking Half Back. We recruit him and play him primarily as a small forward. Essendon take him back and immediately put him on the Half Back flank where he is obviously most comfortable and plays his best footy. We were just dumb.

It's hard to fathom that recruiters with the nouse and skill to pluck Cooper Sharman from the SANFL reserves would then trade for Cox. But then again, this is St.Kilda we are talking about.

Excellent point. The guy who came second has an impressive coaching resume with both men and women's teams. He just just doesn't have the same profile as Dal. What is more important?
