I'm all for choice. Most Australians do not hold Good Friday as sacred. Those who do have every right to decide how they mark this religous occasion. Those who don't should not be restricted in their activites on this day or any other. Give the footy match a go. The crowd will tell if it was a good ...

The St Kilda Football Club is NOT Rod Butterss and his cohorts.
I liked that passage from "The Club" too.

Good umpires are the ones you don't notice. It's the dud decisions that make you look up to see which turkey called it. Ray Chamberlin is the best at calling out "look at me, look at me", but Brett Allen tends to be fairly noticable too.

Allen is easily the best and most impartial umpire running around.

I think that we have to take this futher and make a real stand.

We've allowed ourselve to be pushed around too often, it's time to push back.Winning would be a bonus.

I bet Campbell Brown regrets his moment of honesty too. James Hird can also testify that a fib is better than the truth when discussing McLaren. There's also a growing list of coaches who have found that it's better to live with a few pimples on your tongue, than call it like it is when discussing u...

I thought it was Silvio Foschini who took the VFL to court. Paul Morwood was a bonus, once the court had made their ruling there was nothing the VFL could do.

Disagree - I think that this latest injustice cold be the one that inspires us to stand up and show the rest of the AFL world what we are capable of. I think that the message from the AFL is that we will be on the outer with them regardless of whether we tow their line. Time to stand up and be the &...

I think that we need to appeal in order to let our players know that the club will look after them. We expect our players to be loyal to the club and now it is time for the club to make a stand for one of it's own. Yes, maybe appealing is like spitting in the wind, but it's worth making it known tha...

Whatever happened to the concept of giving the accused the "benefit of the doubt"? There seems to be a montain of doubt, and an ocean of inconsistancy. "Innocent until proven guilty" is another one that seems to have gone out the window. I'm having trouble spotting the "proo...

I remember the line:

"We're tough....We're tough....We're mean... We're mean...We're strong, We're a team. We're the very best team you've ever seen, we're the Brisbane bears.

It had me in stitches every time I heard it.
