Speaking of Kosi, I just saw him. Looked very thin. Surprised me, I must say. Certainly didn't look like a 'power forward' in physique. I've actually noticed that alot of footballer i see aorund these days are slim... Broad and tall, but slim... And increasingly so... Even the big 'power forwards' ...

The key to this forward line is clarke IMO. Can tackle and get the hard ball gets. Get this guy fully fit and he will be the key. With Schnider coming in X isnt assured a spot in the side let alone being te key to the forward line... He's got o take a big step up from his '07 form if its to be the ...

I was more upset when Fraser called in quits than i have been with anyone else in recent times.. He gives his all, and we know it... Harvey from the 90's...

Did anyone else see the footage ch.9 sport used in their article relating to bringing back the state of origin next year.. They showed a 10 sec or so clip of Harvs in the early 90's (i'd think, it look around 94) taking the ball in the goalsquare and running away from goal past/through 4 opponants a...

Sean Charles from Melb to St.Kilda... Not sure if that was the Watson timeframe, but in those surrounding years, players of the calibre of Monkhurst, Francis, Delany, Charles (as mentioned), Gale, and Powell (from richmond) are all as bad as it gets... I absolutely HATED dean anderson as well, from ...

I've got a lot of sympathy for recruiters. Men hit their physical prime in their mid 20s to early 30s. Factoring in wear and tear in an endurance and athleticism game like AFL, that probably means from roughly 23 to 29 or so. While the numbers are a guess, it does mean that a recruiter has to look ...

I wish we had of been able to keep him. However like Lockett before him, it was necessary for both club and individual that he move on. Had Hall stayed he wouldn't be the player he is now, he needed a change and we got a good deal at the end of the day, so it was the right thing for all involved. B...

Also recon big super massive losers were freo... Picking up Johnson and Bradley I feel were massive mstakes.. Add this to Solomen, plus Harvey and R Shaw as coaches and we have an essendon B team... What a joke.. If i were in charge of a club and hired a coach, the most important rule would be you a...

Abit harsh i would think.... But there are some early signs that may show if a young player will make it or not, but two years is not enough.. Gilbert looked near enough to out of his depth for 2 years, and even early this season did nothing in the VFL to really warrent selection, but due to injury ...

big loser in my opinion was Hawthorn.. Picking up Rioli first and then Dew, they have got some serious skinfold issues to look forward to.. I believe the defensive stoppers in todays game, in the glass, michael, rutten mould, are better being developed through the rookie system, as the essetials skill level is different, and some can come on at a later age..

by and large agree totally with the initial thoughts posted..

at pick 70, we are better off going with someone like Eljay, in my opinion, than a good honest tryer who battled well through the juniors... It sounds like Eljay is very skillful, quick, and doesnt mind getting in packs... Thats the hard part done.. The issue of his size (weight, his height is not a...
