Re: kicking into our 50
was it just me or were we bombing it heaps into our 50 and dons just bringing it straight back out, poor use on the ball!!! Had to listen to it today on Radio and it sounded as though we did not have a forward target at all, come straight back out, in the end I turned it off halfway through ...

I dont understand Kosi inside the 50 Kosi either needs to mark the bloody thing, or if he's there to provide a contest and bring the ball to ground, make sure there are actually players AT HIS FEET. How in the hell is Kossi going to ensure that OTHER players in our forward 50 are at HIS feet :shock...

It's hard to see the Pies sitting on the top of the AFL ladder right now, and I'm sure Ball is feeling pretty chuffed at his choice. Try and get $100 out of a Pies supporter that we will be on top of them come round 12, Easy money  The toothless are quick to tell us how good they are but chec...

Re: So the secrets out......
We also know Dal will probably get a hard tag - in these cases Id like to see him go fwd. IF hes only gonna get 12 kicks from a heavy tag....better 6 of those go on to the chest of a lead up fwd for a score. This bloke gets a free ride from most of us IMO, he needs to learn to deal with a heavy tag...

Slow day at the HS what a joke
Talk about a nothing story, Gardy has his head plastered on the website for this nothing story, what a joke this paper is.

Well personally I'd like to see him fail miserably. Yep, I feel sick with every touch he gets and when he kicks a goal I find myself laughing and saying you have got to be kidding dont you. Perhaps he finally thinks he had better earn his money he puts on his head. Can we have this thread moved bef...

Monday night football
Are you a fan of it or not? I was out today with other sainters that were saying they will not be going because it was on a Monday night and was to hard with the Kids ect. I dont like it and thought Monday may of been a holiday but I am informed it is not a holiday in Vic on Monday or Tuesday so why...

Are we the bench mark?
Just thinking that we may just well be the bench mark of the comp. We have beaten Swans, they have since won every game We then beat North and they won the next week after seeing what is required to compete against the best in the comp, this is the only win so far in 2010. We then FLOG Collingwood :...

They may need to as the talent will be hard to find. We have a few mature age players making headlines this year so it has already started. Easier to keep an eye on reserves than VFL Hope it happens but imagine the ticket price to cover it  Membership will cost $250+ for a single and who wants...

The Storm were found to be 1.7 million over the cap over a 5 year period. Just as a side note, noting it has no relevance to this issue, but your correct in saying the storm was 250k per year over the cap. When the Brisbane Lions won their 3 flags in a row they had an extra 700k per year in their c...

So how was he going to get a game at the Saints if he couldnt under RL. I dont think RL is going anywhere. Anyway you think he left for money and I reckon he left because he saw the writing on the wall. The same way he got to play in a grand final after being dropped during the year, RL would give ...

The Herald Sun the next day showed an interesting photo on the back page with contrast between a 'banged up' jubilant Hayes and an unscathed and miserable Ball! I'm sure after that game there were a lot of questions dancing around in his head! Perhaps Malthouse asked Ball if he was good with his fi...

Re: Gram counting the money
My son tells me when Gram was on Luke Ball's mark, Grammy was rubbing his fingers like counting money. I'll try to find the classic vision. Love it  Would love to see this  Some said I wonder if Luke thought to himself "geez I could of been part of this famous victory tonight" ...

Perhaps we can also hit him on the chest with our kicking, yes he has a great leap when on the lead but has it come at a cost? Bad luck really, and perhaps the rolled ankle had something to do with it? Lets just hope his hammy heals well after todays Medico's sort it out. See you in a few weeks Rooe...

Development roles in footy?
Interesting read on Garry Hocking being watched this week by the AFL who says he is spending to much time on the ground giving orders as Ports runner. A coach is not allowed to be a runner but becuase of grey areas in the game Hocking can run out there even though he is employed by Port in a develop...
