Dane's heart broke after Lenny's tackle at the start of the 3rd Q - jeez I loved that!

Have a look at the last play. BJ third man up flipped it over the back to Lenny heading straight to our forward 50. Jolly put a finger on it in mid air and forced it back into the contest - siren blew - game of inches drawn!

Colliwobbles

They are alive and well.

The Pies coughed it up while choking under the pressure.

Go Saints.

My wife has a standing room ticket in M7 and is unable to stand. Will swap for any type of seat if anyone is interested and want to be closer to the action. Face value is $147.50 - happy to pay the diff.

PM me if interested.

Don Discher. What a blast from the past :D :D[/quote]

I remember PC Dibble Discher being suspended for striking a big name opposing ruckman. Does anyone remember who he punched and how long he was out for? Don was a giant of a man around 6'7" I'd say.

You're a bit rough on the Sebastapolians - but if they've had Dwayne Russell as a coach who can blame you Elvis and no need to apologise! I remember one year they had GF T-shirts printed up before the game and lost. As a best and fairest winner Gellie should go straight into the side as the RR. Pack...

You can break the news to Swooper - he's still as feisty as ever. I hear he finally realised that umpires can pay free kicks for umpire abuse from the boundary! I also hear the Graeme Gellie is doing well in Colac running a fitness centre. He's still in good shape apart from the knee that cut short ...

John 'swooper' Northey could go in as coach. Coached Redan to a number of flags and then went on to coach (and play) the Saints Reserves. Phillip Walsh also came from Redan about the same time as Northey in the early 80's. Gerard Cahir and Malcolm Scott might have tried out as well, not sure if they...

Front end contract is fine but make sure it excludes holiday pay and has restrictions on loans to employees, mates etc.... (especially to help buy real estate in Brighton)

If we win?

Who should present the cup?

A caller to 3aw tonight indicated Daryl Baldock would love to be back on the daïs with a Saints jumper on this time. Another suggestion was Trevor Barker's father.

Any other worthy contenders?

I've not only taken the lid off but also taken all the money out of the jar and loaded up on the boys at $3.50. I've seen nothing in the last week to change my view.

They're a pack of sniping dogs those dawks - Taylor with his elbow, Brown dropping his knee into Milne, Osbourne with the late tackles but what joy to end their year with our depth.

Ling & Dal Santo

C Ling spoke at our club luncheon last Saturday. I asked him who he would be matching up on against the Saints. He said that his preference and belief was that it would be Dal Santo. He also said not to pass it onto Ross. So it's just between all of us then. He sounded genuine and will be interested...
