Surely they would only lose their allocated draft picks wouldn't they?

pick 3 was Carltons pick traded to West Coast.

There are two obvious strategies that the AFL could employ to even up the FIXture. - The first is to leave the current 22 rounds and split the 16 teams into two groups of eight. These must remain for a long time. Each team plays the seven other teams in it's pool twice and the eight teams in the oth...

I think he was from the same draft as Lenny Hayes. I remember in a John Beveridge interview that St Kilda assumed that Sydney would take Hayes and that Bevo would pick Bolton.

FWIW I think her'd be a handy pick-up if the price is right.

If this suggestion came to fruition then the AFL would be all over it. What is suggested here is draft tampering. It would actually suit Carlton's style to think themselves above the league rules (once again). The Jade Rawlings deal a few years ago was made to ensure that Rawlings went into the pre-...

I think that it is the tirade of thinly veiled personal insults that go along with every reply to a post that disagrees with his point of view.

Lose the attitude and regain the respect.

How hard is it to provided members with a f***** cap? The club gave you a perfectly good red and white cap a few years ago. Don't tell me you lost it! ;) :) That was only for reserved seat holders. I still have mine but NEVER wear it as it is, as you pointed out, RED & WHITE! ORDINARY EFFORT TH...

Let's face it, there is a massive restriction on these young blokes. He was forced (not requested, but forced) to go to the other side of the country to practise his chosen career at 18 years old. I don't remember the footage of him being frog marched into the draft camp. To my mind the decision to...

Knights is an interesting choice, to be honest I'd be a bit concerned as well. Why? I would be concerned because Knights has NEVER been associated with a successful team. Richmond has experienced one of its worst eras in its VFL/AFL history. The SANFL club he went to never played in a premiership. ...

It was funny that the good run the Scorps had in the second half of this year directly coincided with the Saints lowest injury list for three seasons.

The sooner the Saints go it alone, the better.

Very hard to win a Charlie in a team that only won 11 games... next year. Tony Lockett - 1987. St Kilda had 9 wins. Robert Harvey - 1998 (32 votes). St Kilda had 13 wins. I'd be very surprised if we delist any of our ruckmen.

With Clarke gone, Gardiner yet to play a game, Kosi spending more time forward with Gehrig's retirement we'd be silly to delist anyone that can ruck (and that includes Rix).

Pick 9 alone for Judd, surely you jest?? They will want a damn sight more than that! What they want and what they get are two entirely different things. What did the Hawks want for Everitt last year? The wild card in this debate is the man himself. If Judd nominates the Saints as his preferred team, then West Coast are almost compelled to take a reasonable offer for him. That reasonable offer might just be pick 9 alone. Judd (and the club of his choice) hold all the aces in this game. The one th...
